Living True to Your Core Values

Hi,

Today, I want to talk about something that often feels elusive yet so deeply fulfilling: living in alignment with our true values and beliefs. Living from a place that feels true and authentic to our inner most self.

Make a cup of coffee, grab your pen and journal, get cozy, and let’s start.

Living authentically doesn’t mean having everything figured out; it means choosing to live according to what you really value and believe. It’s about knowing who you truly are, recognizing what feels true, and making choices that honor that version of yourself.

Yet, as life gets busier, this can feel challenging. We juggle endless responsibilities and roles, move from one task to another, rush around life, and sometimes lose touch with what genuinely matters to us. We find ourselves on autopilot, unsure of what’s next, feeling stretched too thin, or feeling a bit disconnected from who we are at our core. When we can root ourselves back to our values, we find greater clarity, fulfillment, and peace.

Here are some integration questions you use as journal prompts:

  • What are my core values? (if you’re unsure, reply to this email and I’ll offer you a quick exercise)

  • In what areas of my life am I out of alignment with these values?

  • When do I feel most at ease, thriving, and connected with my Authentic Self?
    What does my heart desire?

  • What would a fulfilling, authentic life look like if I allowed myself to truly follow my heart?

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.”
